北京理工大学工业设计系系主任，设计艺术学院院长，博士生导师, 教授;中国工业设计协会常务理事；教育部工业设计专业教学指导分委会委员；中国美术家协会工业设计艺术委员会委员。张乃仁教授曾在日本大阪福田设计研究所研修，在日本东京千叶大学工业设计系担任访问学者。
