BFA Studio Art/Creative Writing. I am a seasoned Art Director, Flash designer, web designer, illustrator and Flash animator (cartoons) specializing in designs and concepts from the most corporate to the utterly experimental. Diversity is key. I designed Nike's home page, as well as Niketown.com, for two years as Art Director. Since then I have over 2 years as a very successful freelancer. I'm a collaboration evangelist, a pixel-whipping perfectionist, and I have a sense of humor that could crack brazil nuts.

Sole proprietor of an extremely successful freelance flash and web production studio, creating web sites, Flash modules, cartoons, and content for Nike, Visa, and many other diverse clients. Art directing agencies contracting for Nike, art directing designers for mid-sized design shops.
Art Director, Nike.com (6/00 - 6/02)

Created new and original designs for Nike's U.S. home page, as well as special features and Flash projects. Managed and art directed junior- and senior-level designers. Created a new global style guide for all of nike's diverse country and regional web sites in order to bring consistency throughout Nike's worldwide presence on the web. Art directed outside creative agencies. Assisted with production process. Olympic home page design selected for the cover of the upcoming book, Web Designs That Work.
Design Director, Extractable Solutions (10/99 - 6/00)

Created and presented innovative design solutions to diverse corporate clients, refreshing outdated or ineffectual user interfaces with clean, intuitive ones.Worked directly with steady clients like 3Com, Intraspect andYahoo to create quick turnaround designs in keeping with their marketing initiatives. Art directed junior designers and contractors where necessary.

Senior Designer, ZDTV (now TechTV) (1/99 - 1/00)

Designed new web interfaces for zdtv's wide range of television shows. Created daily story illustrations for prominent articles and created elaborate chat rooms for special events. Designed a series of video interfaces for ZDTV's broadband video-on-demand library.
